Hello Sylvan Lake Minor Hockey Parents and welcome to the 2014/2015 Hockey season!
This year we have decided to do an Association Raffle. In order for this to be successful we need your help. We have decided to hold this raffle to financially strengthen SLMHA. There was a distinct possibility with the collapse of the Arena that Minor Hockey Fees would increase this upcoming year. However the funds this raffle is expected to raise helped ensure fee's WILL NOT increase this upcoming season. SLMHA will still face higher ice costs, the need of new jersey's and a new arena that needs financial contribution – we expect further proceeds from this Raffle to contribute to these needs as well.
About the raffle / how it works:
We have three prizes:
1.) A BRAND NEW 2013 Tahoe Q5i SF Boat
2.) $7,500.00 travel voucher
3.) $2,500.00 Home Theatre pkg.
One ticket can win all three prizes; tickets are $10.00 each, with a total of 15,000 tickets printed. Tickets cannot be purchased by anyone under 18 years of age, and No persons under 18 can sell tickets without being accompanied by an adult.
We are asking that each Minor Hockey player sell four ticket books each book containing ten tickets (40 tickets total).
As a Thank-You for your dedication and working together for our Association there will also be "team profit sharing" to the teams. Once teams are made and all players on that team have sold their share of tickets we will allocate $100.00/player to that team.
We understand selling these tickets may be difficult for some families, if you feel you are in this situation please do not hesitate to call Melissa or Shea so we can work together to help you out (call will be kept strictly confidential).
Tickets are available to start selling now and all tickets must be returned to Melissa by November 15, 2014.

Registration for the 2014/2015 season will be opening for Early Registration June 7, 2014.
Online Registration will be Credit Card payment only. Option of one or three payments.
Paper Registration will be Cheque or Money Order only Payable to SLMHA. Option of one or three payments.
Early Registration will be available from June 7 - August 15, 2014. Early Registration packages have a $100 discount on fees.
August 16, 2014 will be the end of Early Registration and fees will resume to regular rates.
Reminder Registration fees include $200 for Kitchen/Fundraising Hours and new this year $100 Raffle deposit. Keep following SLMHA website for information on how to earn your kitchen and fundraising deposits back.
